Dear Melanie, I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to seek your assistance with a property and mortgage matter. I purchased a house in 2023, and shortly before finalizing the payment and collecting the keys, I separated from my ex-wife. As everything was already arranged, I proceeded with the purchase alone, paid all associated costs myself, and have been the sole occupant of the property ever since. My ex-wife has never lived in the house or contributed to any expenses. Our separation was very amicable, and we remain on good terms. We would now like to resolve the matter of the mortgage and the property title by removing her name from both. Would this be something you can assist with? If so, could you please let me know your fees and what the process would involve? My ex-wife is fully cooperative and willing to sign any required documents.
