Working at Duncan Lewis Solicitors in the heart of London, my role as a Trainee Solicitor unfolds within the bustling Immigration department. Here, alongside a passionate team of solicitors, fellow trainees, and caseworkers, I operate under the watchful eye of Director Gergana Pentcheva. Together, we navigate the complexities of immigration, asylum, and human rights law, dedicating our efforts to those in need of legal aid.

Our clientele is diverse, encompassing individuals and families seeking refuge and a fresh start. From reuniting separated families to safeguarding the rights of those escaping modern slavery and domestic violence, our mission is broad. We also extend our support to unaccompanied minors arriving in search of asylum, ensuring they receive the protection and guidance they deserve.

My credentials include a Level 2 Senior Caseworker accreditation from the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme, a testament to my depth of understanding and expertise in this field. This, paired with my DBS Enhanced Status, empowers me to advocate effectively for our most vulnerable clients, aiding them in their pursuit of safety and justice.

The journey through the legal landscape prior to my current position has been enriching, laying a solid foundation of knowledge and commitment to immigration law.
