David Ian Carruthers

David Carruthers has carved a notable career in the legal and parking management sectors, currently serving as the Company Secretary at APCOA Parking in the UK. His journey in this role began in May 2023, marking a step towards retirement while mentoring his successor and continuing to support APCOA's operations remotely. Before transitioning into this part-time role, Carruthers dedicated over a decade as the Director & Company Secretary at APCOA Parking, showcasing his versatility as the sole in-house lawyer responsible for a wide array of legal duties from property acquisition to intellectual property licensing.

His tenure at APCOA Parking, spanning from November 2011 to the present, has seen him manage the statutory books for UK companies and serve as Company Secretary for five UK private limited companies since July 2012. In addition, he has been a Director of UK private limited companies since February 2015, demonstrating his adeptness in overseeing legal aspects of corporate management.

Prior to his extensive service at APCOA, Carruthers was the Group Solicitor for Nestor Healthcare Group plc and Primecare from December 2006 until October 2011, where his legal expertise significantly contributed to the healthcare sector.
