 She told me she had bipolar disorder, but evidence led me to suspect that her condition might be closer to DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) or something similar. At the time, I was in a critical phase of my immigration journey and genuinely lacked the emotional capacity to support her through her struggles. During one of her episodes, I made the difficult decision to end our relationship and cease all contact. That said, I still hope that once I secure permanent residency, I can rebuild our connection with her consent and willingness. If she agrees, I have a request: I would like you to consider drafting a legally binding authorization letter. This document would allow me, in consultation with you, to act as her representative in communicating and making decisions regarding her medical care during a crisis, should the need arise.
