Before his current role at Osler, Ranish honed his skills in technology and intellectual property law at a prominent comprehensive law firm in Manitoba. This background equipped him with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities present in the technology sector.

Ranish's legal acumen is recognized by notable accolades from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law, where he was awarded the D.A. Thompson Q.C. Prize and named to the Dean’s Honour List, reflecting his academic excellence and commitment to his field.
