Lauren Harper

Lauren's legal journey saw a significant transition in 2021 when she joined Wagners, bringing her expertise to the medical malpractice and class actions groups. This move came after she honed her skills in general litigation at another firm. Hailing from Moncton, NB, Lauren's academic pursuits in law were marked by an impressive dual degree achievement - a Civil Law degree and a Common Law degree, both from McGill University's Faculty of Law in Montreal. Her academic exploration also took her across borders, with a civil law exchange at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

During her time in law school, Lauren was deeply involved in legal clinics that championed the cause of access to justice, indicating her commitment to legal equity from early on. Her scholarly contributions include peer-reviewed publications, notably with the Trinity College Law Review. She also had the opportunity to present her work at the esteemed School of Law at Trinity College in Dublin, showcasing her research acumen.

January 2019 marked a milestone in Lauren's career with her admittance to the Nova Scotia Bar. Her educational foundation, however, extends beyond law. Prior to her legal studies, Lauren pursued and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing, a course she undertook at Dalhousie University and the University of Kings College. This educational background was further enriched by her completion of the Foundation Year Program at the University of Kings College, where she was recognized on the Kings President’s List in 2013 and 2014.

Lauren's interests transcend her professional life. She is an enthusiastic road and trail runner, always eager to embrace the great outdoors. This passion for running is complemented by her love for travel. Lauren has journeyed extensively across continents, traversing Europe, Asia, and South America. In each of these locales, she has seized the opportunity to engage in road and trail runs, weaving her passion for fitness into her travels.
