Lisa Wagner, a Halifax native, embarked on her academic voyage at Bishop's University, where she not only pursued her studies but also took an active role in sports, playing for the Varsity Women's Soccer Team. Her thirst for knowledge and excellence in academia steered her to the Schulich School of Law. It was here that Wagner's brilliance truly shone through. She earned a slew of high-profile accolades: the Schulich Scholarship, the Alistair Fraser Scholarship, the Honorable Angus L. MacDonald Prize, and the Craig Bauer Memorial Prize, each a testament to her legal acumen and dedication.

Following the completion of her legal education, Wagner's career took her to Vancouver, where she undertook her legal training with articles. In 2014, she made a significant geographical and professional shift, moving back to Nova Scotia. Wagner's legal practice is singularly focused on personal injury law, with a keen interest in cases revolving around automobile accidents and slip and fall incidents. This specialized focus demonstrates her commitment to providing expert legal services in a challenging and impactful area of law.

Wagner's legal prowess is recognized through her admissions to several bar associations. She was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2014, and before that, to the British Columbia Bar in 2013. Wagner's educational background is as distinguished as her professional one. She completed her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Dalhousie Law School in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 2012. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec, in 2008, where she again made the Dean’s List, demonstrating consistent academic excellence throughout her university career.
