Her roots called her back to Nova Scotia, where she contributed to policy development and enforcement with ACOA and the Advisory Council on the Status of Women. Her family law practice flourished, leading to a pivotal partnership with Mary Jane McGinty and Christine Doucet in 2012 at MDW Law, marking the start of a significant phase in her career.

Angela's engagement with the legal community is extensive. She serves as an Adjudicator for the NS Small Claims Court and is actively involved with Lawyer’s Rights Watch Canada, a role that has taken her to the United Nations in Geneva. Her mentorship with the Lawyers Insurance Association of Nova Scotia and participation in various legal committees, including the Court of Appeal Liaison Committee and the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society Practice Standards Committee for Family Law, underscore her commitment to the legal profession. Angela's thirst for knowledge is evident in her pursuit of various certifications and intensive training in family mediation at Riverdale Mediation in Toronto.

Outside the office, she relishes in the joys of parenting her seven-year-old son, a spirited and humorous child she adopted.
