Her academic journey began at Saint Mary’s University, where she delved into the intricacies of human behavior and cognition, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. This foundational knowledge laid the groundwork for her subsequent legal studies. Jessica's legal acumen was honed at the University of New Brunswick, culminating in her acquisition of a Juris Doctor degree in 2019.

Jessica's initial foray into the practical aspects of law was through her articling at a boutique law firm nestled in St. Margaret’s Bay, Nova Scotia. It was here that she developed a keen focus on family law, a field that resonated with her innate understanding of human dynamics. This pivotal experience paved the way for her formal entry into the legal profession with her induction into the Nova Scotia bar in June of 2020.

In her role at MDW Law, Jessica's primary commitment is to offer guidance to clients who are traversing the often turbulent and emotionally charged terrain of family legal matters. Her approach is characterized by a blend of empathetic understanding and a robust knowledge base, aiming always to secure the most favorable outcomes for her clients.
