Afia Sengupta

I retained Afia and her current affair team in Sept 2023 to help me in my legal case. They made me sign and pay a retainer right away which I did. From that day until today, Jan 19, 2024 - no work has been done on my case - NOT ONE! She and her team have ceased communication with me (I have emails and text messages to prove) and no efforts have been made to return my retainer, although I have asked MULTIPLE TIMES. She is well aware of my current situation but she is not honest, bad lawyer and very unprofessional. No one should retain her or anyone associated with their sham of a law firm. FRAUD ALERT!!! Do not retain - I am reporting all the lawyers and paralegals associated with their firm to the NYS Bar association - this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Imagine waiting for months on your case just to find out not a single document has been filed on your behalf - VERY HURTFUL. Do not HIRE her or anyone associated with the Current Affairs Times Law Firm - you are warned !!!
