I caught our bank charging us insurance fees without our knowledge. We filed internal banking complaints and they took 4 months adjudicating them. I proceeded to the OBSI, and the bank immediately offered a big settlement, including $1000 interest accrued. We believe the numbers were inaccurate and required the OBSI to review these calculations. The OBSI spent five months investigating the issue, and claimed the issue was outside their mandate. They orchestrated a settlement to accept what the bank offered or get nothing. We have been denied banking services and financial information needed to sign a severe nondisclosure. The insurance was hidden and may cover a sudden long-term disability my wife suffered. She is on the mortgage and her disability may be compensable. The OBSI knows we both suffer disabilities and we disclosed this in OBSO documents. The OBSI restricted its service to us directly linked to my wife’s disability and its compensablity. Can a nondisclosure de discriminatory?
