Good afternoon Ms. Greenspoon, I am currently a Public Servant working in the NCR for DND. It was recommended to me that I contact you regarding a Labour relations item concerning accommodation based on Family status (caring for elderly parent). I had submitted my request and a supporting letter from the treating Hematologist/Oncologist. It is being challenged and I am being asked a number of questions that I am unsure whether or not I am obligated to respond. We do not have sufficient union representation within UNDE and based on the toxic history with this manager, I am not sure that Union representation would be adequate and appropriate. Can you help?
