She offered shifting excuses, failed to communicate, and showed no regard for the serious financial and emotional consequences her inaction caused. The entire process suffered because of her lack of basic diligence and responsibility. A lawyer should advocate for their client, not sabotage progress or leave them uninformed and unprotected. Based on everything I witnessed, I believe Ms. Lucas is not acting in her clients’ best interests and should not be trusted with matters requiring competence, timeliness, or professional integrity. I strongly advise anyone to seek counsel elsewhere.
