From a tender age, the path to law seemed predestined for me. The dream, initially planted by my immigrant parents who faced their share of hardships, became my own ambition. Striving to achieve our collective goal, I deeply embraced the significance of family unity and child welfare within the realm of family law, resonating with my core beliefs. The trust clients place in me, confiding their deepest family issues, is both a humbling honor and a responsibility I take seriously.

My academic journey led me from Political Science at the University of Toronto to a transformative law education in England, thanks to a scholarship. This adventure abroad taught me resilience, integrity, and the value of a disciplined approach, lessons that I apply daily in both my professional and personal interactions. Since being admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2015, my legal career has been diverse, from starting in Insurance Defence to founding my own firm focused on Family Law and Wills and Estates, and serving as General Counsel in various organizations. This breadth of experience has honed my skills in negotiation, advocacy, and empathy, enabling me to understand different viewpoints and navigate through contentious situations effectively.

Throughout my career, I've stood up for clients across all court levels in Ontario, advocating passionately on their behalf. However, I strongly endorse alternative dispute resolution methods, a stance bolstered by my Masters in Law specializing in this area. My approach to client interactions is grounded in respect, integrity, and kindness, ensuring I remain both professional and approachable.

My expertise has not only been recognized in courtrooms but also in the media, with appearances on CTV National, Global TV, and SIRIUS XM Radio, and contributions to the Lawyer’s Daily newspaper. My efforts in developing training modules that address contemporary legal challenges have earned me nominations and accolades, reflecting my commitment to education and breaking down social barriers within the legal community.

Outside of law, my life is rich with personal interests. I cherish time spent with loved ones, indulge in my passion for cooking and exploring global cuisines, and reflect on my years as a competitive ballet dancer, a discipline that has undoubtedly influenced my professional perseverance and grace under pressure.
