Well, 

I had already spoken to 2 lawyers, on a 1/2hr. pro bono basis, and I could tell immediately that their wasn't going to be a fit.

Upon contacting Giovanna, the first thing she did, which warmed my heart, was she paused after saying hello, reached for a sheet of paper, a pen, and said "(My name),tell me what happened". 
I can't begin to express how that made me feel, in that moment of hurt, grieving, and the unknown.  She immediately made me feel valued, which in turn made me relax.
