After completing her undergraduate studies in Criminology and Psychology at Ottawa's University, Claire embarked on a legal education journey at Lakehead University. Her dedication culminated in her admission to the Bar in 2019, with a keen focus on the intricacies of family law ever since. Colleagues and clients alike praise Claire for her unwavering commitment, approachability, and fervor for social justice issues.

During her tenure at law school, Claire played a pivotal role as the Indigenous student voice on the committee tasked with founding the Indigenous Law and Justice Institute at Lakehead. Her Métis heritage profoundly influences her advocacy, highlighted by her participation in the 2015 Métis Nation of Ontario Canoe Expedition. This remarkable journey saw Claire and her team paddle from Ottawa to Kenora, a testament to her resilience and connection to her roots.

Outside the courtroom, Claire's creative spirit shines through her musical talents on the piano and guitar, alongside her vocal abilities. Additionally, she cherishes spending time in nature, exploring with her family and son, showcasing her multifaceted life beyond her professional endeavors.
