I am Real Estate Salesperson and had to deal with Horrible Lawyer twice since my mortgage agent insisted. May be he has some kind of arrangement with Mortagage agent.
First time used him in 2021 for a Condo deal. Closing was almost 3 months from date of acceptance of offer. He was provided with the status Certificate when offer got accepted.
This guy called me 3 days before closing asking for new status certificate. when i asked him why you didnt ask for it before then he started blaming me saying this is agent respnsibility, If everything is agent responsibility then what are you getting paid for. Checking status certificate, doing title serach all those things need to be done by lawyer along with making sure that most upto date documents are availaible.
Recently closed another deal Free hold deal with this horrible Lawyer. First he way overcharged client ( almost $4000) when he was asked why these charges are way over he got really rude with me and my client. His Words wrere " My price is good but if you stilll want may be on compassionate basis i can lower price. If client is really poor and cannot pay the fee. At one point he almost threatened the client to return the funds back if they dodnt pay his fee.
Stay away from this person. Not professiona l at all and really rude.
