Denise Baker

Admitted to practice law in Ontario in 2003, Denise Baker has become a respected figure in municipal and land use planning law, serving as Co-Managing Partner at WeirFoulds. Her academic foundation is robust, holding a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University (1997), a Master of Planning (2000), and a Bachelor of Laws (2002), both from Queen's University. Denise’s professional journey is distinguished by her active engagement with the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association, alongside her involvement with Lambda Alpha International's Simcoe Chapter.

Denise specializes in advising both public municipalities and private stakeholders on complex land use and planning issues, as well as heritage property considerations and expropriation matters.
