Her journey in law began after graduating from Windsor Law in 2005, where her commitment to societal welfare saw her engaging with multiple volunteer organizations, including Access to Justice and the John Howard Society. Deborah's dedication to community service didn't wane; in Windsor, she contributed to the establishment of Hiatus House and volunteered at Street Help, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to supporting the vulnerable.
