Zev Bergman

Zev embarked on his academic journey at York University, where he achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree. His pursuit of legal knowledge then led him to the University of Saskatchewan, culminating in the acquisition of his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). His academic tenure was distinguished by notable achievements, including being awarded the Durward Thomas Prize in Civil Procedure and the P.E. Mackenzie Prize in Evidence, both honoring his exceptional acumen in these areas.

Spanning almost a decade, Zev's professional career has been marked by his significant contributions in the field of insurance law. He initially served as an associate at a premier insurance defence firm in Toronto, where he honed his expertise in representing insurers and their clients. This role laid the foundation for his subsequent position as Litigation Counsel for one of the world's foremost insurers. In this capacity, Zev's deep understanding of the intricacies of insurance law proved to be a critical asset, especially in guiding individuals who suffered injuries and their families through the complexities of litigation.

Zev's legal proficiency extends across various judicial arenas, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice – Provincial Offences, and the License Appeal Tribunal. His current practice is dedicated to championing the rights of injured individuals and their families in personal injury litigation. This encompasses a wide spectrum of cases, ranging from straightforward personal injury claims to more complex Disability Insurance disputes.
