Hi there two weeks ago I left my ex because of abusive behaviour. I took my three kids out of Ottawa and moved back to Oshawa with my parents. I’m trying to find a lawyer out here. I can not go back to Ottawa. I have no one out there and I can not stay with him. I’m trying to get custody of my kids. He believes I am bringing them back but here the thing his car doesn’t have a back windshield I’m pretty sure there is no insurance on his car and he’s about to be evicted. I’m afraid he’s going to show up here at my parents and cause a scene.

The mother of my son is very adamant on taking full custody without giving me 50/50 rights. Not married but common-law. I would like to be the prime caregiver of my son and be able to do 50/50 with her if possible and if it makes sense to. All I want is what is best for my son, I don’t want him to get affected by our issues anymore, he doesn’t deserve that.
