Joseph Fearon

Joseph Fearon is an accomplished managing partner at Preszler Injury Lawyers BC, known for his adept handling of complex legal claims and a deep commitment to client advocacy. Raised in Nova Scotia, Joseph's academic journey in law began with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in philosophy from Queen's University, where he distinguished himself by making the Dean's list. He further honed his legal expertise at the University of Victoria's law school.

Notably, he served as counsel in the groundbreaking R. v. Nwanebu, 2014 BCCA 387, which established new legal precedents in Canada. His diverse experience spans judge-alone and jury trials, including a five-week jury trial that culminated in a $1.4M award for his client.

In the landmark case Saadati v. Moorhead, Joseph contributed to the exploration of compensable psychological injuries, attending the Supreme Court of Canada alongside Dairn Shane. He also led a chronic pain trial, where his strategic prowess prompted the insurance company to offer over $1M above their initial proposal. More recently, in 2022, Joseph's skill as lead trial counsel was evident in Lee v. MacLean, resulting in a $2.87M recovery for his client.
