Joanna's lack of procedural understanding and an inability to effectively advocate for her client. Her repeated procedural missteps, failure to meet basic evidentiary standards, and unprofessional conduct toward opposing counsel significantly impeded progress and unnecessarily escalated conflict. Her conduct undermined the resolution process, to the detriment of all parties involved.

Displayed a concerning lack of preparation and professionalism throughout the case. Her poor communication skills, including failure to respond in a timely manner or provide clear guidance, left her client and opposing counsel in constant uncertainty. Additionally, her inability to focus on key issues and reliance on frivolous arguments wasted time and resources, ultimately undermining the integrity of the proceedings

Egregious display of poor conduct & professionalism 

During our initial consultation, she suggested that we pay the retainer in cash to receive a discount and avoid paying HST. This felt suspicious and unprofessional, so we decided not to proceed with her services. I would not recommend this lawyer based on this interaction.

Suspect ethical behavior 

If you're searching for a competent, ethical, and professional family lawyer, Joanna is not the one. My experience with her was an absolute disaster. Joanna demonstrated gross incompetence by failing to follow basic legal procedures, which caused unnecessary delays and complications in my case.

What's worse, she spent more time fabricating false narratives than dealing with facts. Her unprofessional approach not only escalated the conflict but also damaged the case with baseless claims that had no foundation in reality.
