Zachary Pringle

Zachary Pringle took up the role of associate at our firm, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous position at a comprehensive regional law firm. There, Zachary skillfully managed a diverse portfolio of litigation cases, tackling issues from commercial and shareholder disputes to the intricate matters of directors and officers liability, as well as navigating the complex waters of bankruptcy, insolvency, and class action lawsuits.

Throughout his career, Zachary has confidently stood before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, demonstrating his adeptness in legal advocacy. His expertise extends to representing clients across a spectrum of administrative tribunals throughout Canada, including the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), the Insurance Council of British Columbia (ICBC), and the Capital Markets Tribunal (CMT), among others.

Zachary's academic journey at Western Law, with a focus on Business Law, laid the foundation for his legal career. His commitment to serving the community was evident during his time at law school, notably through his co-development of a wills and estates project aimed at providing low-income seniors with crucial legal services. Additionally, his involvement in delivering Public Legal Education workshops in London, Ontario, underscores his dedication to legal education and community service.

Continuing his commitment to pro bono work, Zachary plays a vital role as a supervising lawyer at Osgoode’s Investor Protection Clinic. This initiative offers indispensable legal assistance to individuals facing investment losses without the means to afford legal representation, highlighting Zachary's ongoing commitment to access to justice.

Before embarking on his legal education, Zachary earned a B.A. (Hons.) from Western University. His university years were marked by an impressive commitment to volunteering, contributing significant time to the Children’s Aid Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Special Olympics Ontario. This dedication to community service earned him recognition from Western University, further illustrating his passion for making a positive impact.

Zachary's legal practice encompasses a broad range of representative work. He has defended and advised advisors and dealers in regulatory enforcement proceedings across multiple organizations, including CIRO and the CMT. His expertise covers disputes over investment losses, whether defending or prosecuting, and extends to navigating employment disputes within the financial sector. Zachary's prowess also includes managing complex international anti-trust class action proceedings and advising shareholders in corporate governance conflicts. His involvement in bankruptcy and insolvency cases, representing global banks, creditors, and trustees, showcases his comprehensive understanding of financial legalities.
