Ebony Rose

Ebony Rose holds the position of Assistant Director of Continuing Legal Education at the Toronto branch, where she is at the forefront of crafting and executing educational programs for the firm's associates and partners.

Before her current role at Fasken, Ebony enriched her legal background with summer internships in East Africa, followed by a pivotal stint in the legal sector of a top Canadian bank. Her journey continued as a commercial litigation associate at a notable law firm, focusing on banking disputes. Transitioning into legal education and policy, Ebony contributed her expertise at a law school, enhancing LLM programs and supporting students' professional paths. Her most recent venture involved a tenure as a Policy Lawyer at a legal association, where she spearheaded professional development and advocacy efforts for lawyers across a spectrum of specialties.

Ebony's academic credentials include a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and a BA in Political Studies with a minor in English from Queen's University. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ebony is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of Factory Theatre and YWCA Toronto, contributing to the arts and advocating for women's issues.
