Before joining the firm, Ken led the real estate legal department at The TDL Group Ltd. (Tim Hortons), bringing a wealth of corporate counsel experience. He is well-recognized as a speaker and writer on commercial leasing law, contributing his knowledge to the Law Society of Ontario, CBA, ICSC, and Federated Press. His accolades include the Rex Award for Office Lease of the Year and serving as Co-Editor for "Landlord’s Rights and Remedies in a Commercial Lease: A Practical Guide" (2nd edition). Ken has also contributed to "Shopping Centre Leases" (2nd edition) and advised on Ontario's Landlord and Tenant legislation consolidations for Canada Law Book.
