Sam Laskey

Sam serves as an associate within our Corporate/Commercial Group, where he skillfully addresses a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial issues. His areas of focus include corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and the sale of businesses.

Throughout his articling period at Torkin Manes, Sam acquired extensive experience in a range of corporate dealings. This opportunity allowed him to apply his sharp business insight and holistic strategic approach effectively, providing comprehensive advice to clients across both established and novel industries.

His expertise is concentrated in Corporate/Commercial law.

Sam's legal foundation is solidified by his admission to the Ontario Bar in 2022, preceded by earning a JD from Queen’s University in 2021 and a BSc from McMaster University in 2017. Through his rigorous educational background and practical experience, Sam has developed a nuanced understanding of the corporate landscape, making him a valuable asset to clients navigating the complexities of corporate and commercial law.
