Tal serves as a pivotal partner within the Corporate/Commercial Group, where his legal practice spans a comprehensive range of corporate and commercial law, with a notable focus on mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate finance. He provides seasoned guidance to businesses across various stages of their development, from their inception, through crafting shareholder and commercial contracts, to restructurings, acquisitions, and the eventual winding down of operations. Additionally, Tal offers advice on routine commercial and business law matters, aiding clients in their everyday business decisions.

Prior to his tenure at Torkin Manes, Tal gained substantial expertise in corporate, commercial, and securities law at a national law firm, and honed his skills further as an in-house counsel for a major Canadian corporation. These experiences enriched his ability to counsel boards of directors and executive teams on a variety of complex legal issues.
