Sunita brings over 25 years of expertise as an international tax lawyer, offering trusted advisory services to a diverse clientele on tax matters, including succession and estate planning for individuals and family offices.

Her ability to forge robust relationships with clients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary experts sets her apart, allowing her to navigate the complexities of tax law effectively. Sunita has represented clients in front of the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal.

An accomplished author and speaker, Sunita's contributions are featured in publications by the Canadian Tax Foundation, Tax Notes International, the IBFD, the American Bar Association, and CALU – INFOexchange. She has co-authored the Annotated Partnership Act of Ontario with Carswell, Thomson Reuters. Her academic contributions extend to lecturing at Queens Law School, where she has covered topics on the taxation of trusts and estates, trust law, and general taxation, in addition to guest lecturing at NYU's Master in International Taxation Program.

Engaged in professional communities, Sunita is an active participant in the American Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association, and the Canadian Tax Foundation. She holds positions on the Practice Council of the NYU Master in International Taxation Program and on the drafting committee for the Conflict of Laws in Trusts and Estates Act of the U.S. Uniform Law Commission as an advisor for the ABA SIL section. The American Bar Foundation has recognized her contributions to law, electing her as a Fellow.
