In the realm of mental health, Terrance advocates for individuals adjudged Not Criminally Responsible due to mental disorders before the Ontario Review Board, as well as for those involuntarily committed or deemed incapable of consenting to treatment. Before entering law, Terrance gained a Bachelor's in Development Studies and a Master's in Environmental Studies, later honing his legal acumen at Osgoode Hall Law School through the Criminal Law Intensive Program. There, he delved into Indigenous legal matters and advocated for the legal reform of sex work. Terrance's admission to the Bar in 2017 marked the beginning of his commitment to defending the underrepresented and navigating the complex interplay between criminal justice and mental health.
