More Information:

In 2023, Rebecca made a significant leap to the Gluckstein team, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her early days at a niche personal injury law firm in London, Ontario. There, she carved out a specialty in representing plaintiffs in sexual abuse litigation. Now part of the Rastin Gluckstein team in Barrie, Rebecca continues her passionate advocacy for victims across a wide spectrum of Personal Injury cases. Her portfolio is diverse, covering motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, medical malpractice, defective products, insurance disputes, and disability claims.

Rebecca's academic journey began at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she immersed herself in Sociology, first achieving her Bachelor's and then her Master's degrees. This foundation led her to pursue law at the University of Western Ontario. It was there that her advocacy skills shone, particularly in mooting competitions like the Arnup Cup, where she represented Western Law with distinction. Beyond the classroom, Rebecca committed herself to community service, working as a caseworker at Community Legal Services and volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada. These roles saw her defending the interests of community members in both civil and criminal court, as well as at the Landlord and Tenant Board.

These early experiences not only honed Rebecca’s legal acumen but also deepened her resolve to dismantle barriers within the justice system. At Gluckstein, she channels this resolve into aiding those injured, seeking not just compensation but also closure and justice.

Having earned her Juris Doctor in 2021, Rebecca was admitted to the Ontario Bar the following year. Her professional affiliations are a testament to her standing in the legal community, including memberships in the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Simcoe County Law Association.

Rebecca’s life beyond the courtroom is filled with adventures and passions. She is an avid fan of live music and a devourer of sci-fi and fantasy literature. The great outdoors calls to her spirit, leading her to explore the wilds through camping, kayaking, and hiking, often accompanied by her faithful dog, Bosco. Her journey from an ambitious student to a dedicated legal advocate underscores a career built on compassion, skill, and a tireless commitment to justice.
