Jamie Cole, an associate in our Toronto-based Real Property & Planning Group, brings a wealth of experience from both the private sector and municipal government to his practice. Specializing in guiding clients through the complexities of the development approval process, Jamie has successfully represented them in front of various municipal bodies, including the Committee of Adjustments, the Toronto Local Appeal Body, and the Ontario Land Tribunal. His adeptness in these areas stems from a solid educational foundation with a J.D. from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Urban Studies from the University of Toronto. During his undergraduate years, Jamie gained valuable experience working as a Constituency Assistant for a Toronto City Councillor, further enriching his understanding of municipal operations and concerns.

While at law school, Jamie was actively involved in the Legal Assistance of Windsor clinic, offering his services full-time and demonstrating his commitment to practical legal education and community service.
