Bonnie Fish

Bonnie occupies the influential roles of Director of Legal Research and the Coordinator for her firm's Continuing Professional Development Program. Her responsibilities span across conducting in-depth legal research for civil cases presented before the Ontario Courts, the Supreme Court of Canada, and various administrative bodies.

Aside from her professional duties within the firm, Bonnie contributes her expertise as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law. There, she imparts knowledge on Advanced Legal Research, Analysis and Writing, in addition to teaching the foundational Legal Research and Writing program for first-year law students.

Her leadership extends to chairing and presenting at numerous conferences focused on legal research, where she shares her extensive knowledge and experiences. Bonnie has also taken part in educating upcoming legal professionals through her lectures at the Bar Admission Course.

Bonnie's academic credentials are impressive, with her legal education spanning from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she earned her LLM, to Oxford University for her D.L.S., and back to Osgoode Hall Law School for her LL.B. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1984 and is a member of several prestigious legal associations, including the Advocates Society and the Canadian Bar Association, among others.

Her commitment to the community is equally notable, serving as President of the Israel Cancer Research Fund and actively participating on the board of the Kehilla Residential Programme. Bonnie also chaired the Event Committee for Sukkaville, Toronto, and was a member of the Canada Law Book Advisory Board.

Bonnie's contributions to legal literature are vast, with publications in the Annual Review of Civil Litigation and other respected sources. Her works cover a wide range of topics from privacy laws to corporate governance, showcasing her depth of knowledge and research skills.
