His expertise covers a wide array of property types such as hotels, long-term care facilities, apartment complexes, funeral homes, and shopping centers. Dan is adept at structuring complex real estate investments in Canada, utilizing joint ventures, co-ownerships, and other innovative arrangements.

Dan's experience extends to establishing Real Estate Investment Trusts and managing substantial transactions for institutional property funds. His work involves guiding financial institutions through various phases of real estate financing, including interim and construction phases.

He has also negotiated and drafted lease agreements for a range of properties, acting on behalf of both landlords and tenants. Additionally, Dan offers his considerable skills in real estate restructurings and workouts, advising on reorganizations and foreclosure proceedings.
