Krysten Zator

Krysten Zator brings a wide-ranging expertise to her role in corporate and commercial law, catering to both privately held and public companies. Her academic journey began at Queen’s University’s Faculty of Law, where her excellence landed her on the Dean’s Honour List. Krysten expanded her legal horizons by studying international business law at the Bader International Study Centre in England and furthering her education through an exchange at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

Before her legal education, Krysten pursued an eclectic academic path at Western University, achieving an Honours Bachelor of Music, an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Cognitive Psychology. Her research delved into the intersection of autobiographical memory and popular music.

While at law school, she contributed as a junior editor to the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal and supported her peers as an academic tutor. Krysten’s commitment to the legal community extended to her involvement with Pro Bono Students Canada and her musical contributions as the lead trumpet in the law student jazz band “Groove to Appeal”. Her editorial skills were honed prior to law school as an editor for the Western Undergraduate Psychology Journal, and she embraced the role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate psychology research course, showcasing her diverse talents and leadership abilities.

Krysten’s personal interests are as varied as her academic and professional pursuits. She enjoys staying active through running and team sports, explores her musical talents across various instruments, and relishes karaoke nights. An enthusiastic traveler, she seeks out new experiences and cultures.

Her professional journey saw her gaining invaluable experience through a summer placement and articling with her current firm, including a secondment at the University Health Network in the summer of 2019.

Krysten’s practice areas span capital markets, corporate/commercial law, and mergers & acquisitions, where she applies her comprehensive background and diverse experiences to navigate the complexities of legal challenges faced by her clients.
