Laurie Turner distinguishes herself as the dynamic Co-Leader of her firm's Health Law Group, wielding a robust corporate/commercial legal practice with an astute focus on health-related matters. Laurie's expertise spans advising both profit-driven and charitable entities, including hospitals, on a myriad of issues from corporate restructuring, such as mergers and amalgamations, to nuanced concerns like corporate governance, procurement, and privacy regulations within the health sector.

Holding a law degree from Queen's University, Laurie's foundation in legal studies is complemented by an impressive academic background from the University of Toronto, where she graduated with Distinction. Her pre-law career is marked by significant contributions as an Executive Research Assistant at the Canadian Research Chair in Breast Cancer, located at the Sunnybrook & Women’s College Health Sciences Centre, and as a Research Assistant under Professor Jurgen Rehm at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
