With an educational foundation laid at Jindal Global Law School in India, DJ further honed his legal prowess by pursuing a master’s degree in Canadian common law at the University of Toronto. His journey with Goodmans began as a summer student in 2022, swiftly transitioning to an articling student within the same year, and culminating in his role as an associate by 2023.

Before his tenure at Goodmans, DJ's career was marked by a significant four-year stint as an associate in the Corporate and M&A practice group at a premier law firm in India. This period was characterized by his involvement in advising on a spectrum of legal matters, from mergers and acquisitions to corporate governance and the facilitation of private equity and venture capital transactions.

DJ's scholastic achievements include obtaining a Global Professional LL.M. from the University of Toronto in 2022 and graduating with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School in 2017. His professional journey is underpinned by affiliations with prestigious legal bodies including the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, and the All India Bar Association, showcasing his commitment to legal excellence across geographies.
