At Lenczner Slaght, Amanda holds the position of counsel, specializing in healthcare litigation. She represents healthcare professionals in various challenging and intricate legal matters across disciplinary and regulatory bodies, as well as throughout all court levels in Ontario.

Amanda's expertise is in offering precise and tactical advice to healthcare providers confronted with a broad spectrum of medico-legal issues. She is adept at handling regulatory complaints and investigations, disciplinary actions, conflicts over hospital privileges, compliance with privacy laws, responses to human rights complaints, and the subsequent appeals.

Furthermore, Amanda has contributed to the professional growth of healthcare practitioners by leading continuing education workshops. These sessions are designed to impart actionable strategies for minimizing the potential for complaints and litigation in their professional lives.

Amanda's legal foundation was built at Osgoode Hall Law School. Following her graduation, she gained valuable experience as a law clerk to the judges of the Ontario Divisional Court and the Superior Court of Justice. Before her tenure at Lenczner Slaght, she practiced litigation at a prominent insurance defence firm in Toronto.

Her legal acumen extends to areas of professional liability and regulation, as well as public law. Amanda was admitted to the Bar in Ontario in 2011. Her educational background is comprehensive, with a BA in Psychology and English from Acadia University in 2007, a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010, and an Osgoode Certificate in Health Law from the Osgoode Professional Development Centre in 2014.
