Andrew Porter holds a partnership position at Lenczner Slaght, where his expertise in both trial and appellate law covers a broad spectrum of litigation areas. These include, but are not limited to, commercial litigation, professional liability, and various public law issues. His clientele is diverse, ranging from corporations and their shareholders to professionals and regulatory bodies, all of whom have benefited from his strategic legal counsel both in and out of court settings.

Andrew's legal interventions have been pivotal in medical malpractice suits, heated shareholder disagreements, contract disputes, and a host of injunction motions. He has also taken a leading role in prosecuting intricate fraud cases and defending against numerous class action suits.

His legal acumen has been recognized across Canada, with appearances in the Supreme Court of Canada, various levels of Ontario courts, administrative tribunals, and the Courts of Appeal in both British Columbia and Nova Scotia. Beyond his litigation practice, Andrew is dedicated to legal education as an Adjunct Faculty member at Osgoode Hall Law School and plays a key role in leading his firm's pro bono efforts.

His areas of focus include appeals, class actions, commercial litigation, employment law, injunctions, professional liability and regulation, and public law. Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2012, Andrew's educational journey is notable with a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2011, following an MA (2008) and a BA Honours (2007) in History, both from McGill University.
