Jenna Rumeo

Jenna Rumeo, serving as an associate within the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, tackles a wide array of legal challenges. Her practice encompasses corporate-commercial conflicts, defense against class actions, regulatory inquiries, and competition lawsuits.

Her professional affiliations include the Law Society of Ontario and the Young Advocates’ Society. During her academic years at law school, Jenna excelled as a managing editor for the Queen’s Law Journal and contributed her expertise as a caseworker at the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, advocating for inmates in disciplinary hearings pro bono. Her early career also saw her engaging as a media intern at the Embassy of Canada and a legal intern at the Department of Justice, before venturing into private practice at a Toronto-based litigation boutique.

Her areas of practice include Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Commercial Litigation, and Class Actions. Jenna’s educational background is marked by a J.D. from Queen’s University in 2020 and an Honours B.A. with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2017. Her admission to the Ontario Bar took place in 2021.

In her legal discourse, Jenna has explored topics such as the application of fiduciary duty breaches within class proceedings, emphasizing the Ontario Court of Appeal's stance on maintaining a low threshold for such pleadings.
