Jessica Starck holds the position of research associate at Lenczner Slaght, where her expertise is leveraged across complex litigation cases. Her responsibilities include crafting detailed opinions and memoranda on intricate or unprecedented legal issues that surface within the firm's wide-ranging practice areas. Jessica is adept at composing submissions for various court levels and frequently offers strategic counsel, particularly for appeal processes.

Before her current role, Jessica contributed her skills to a prominent national law firm for two years, focusing her practice on general commercial litigation, with special attention to securities litigation and class actions.

During her legal studies, Jessica served as a managing editor for the McGill Journal of Law and Health and dedicated her time to the McGill Legal Information Clinic. Further extending her commitment to legal aid, Jessica interned at Her Justice in New York City, an organization dedicated to offering pro bono legal services to domestic violence survivors.

Her areas of focus at Lenczner Slaght include appeals, arbitration, class actions, commercial litigation, defamation and media, professional liability and regulation, and securities litigation. Jessica was admitted to the Ontario Bar and the New York Bar in 2016. Her educational background is comprehensive, with a BCL/LLB from McGill University's Faculty of Law in 2015, participation in an international law exchange program at Vrije University Amsterdam in 2014, and earlier studies completed at Concordia University in 2011.
