Laurie Kent, a seasoned partner at Koskie Minsky's Labour & Employment Group, is a distinguished figure in the realm of labour law. Laurie's expertise encompasses a wide range of labour relations issues, from employment standards to collective bargaining and beyond. Since being called to the Ontario Bar in 2005, she has adeptly handled complex labour matters across various forums, including administrative tribunals and courts.

Laurie's practice is dedicated exclusively to labour relations, advocating on behalf of unions from the industrial, public, private, and construction sectors. Her proficiency shines in navigating the intricacies of acquiring bargaining rights, addressing unfair labour practices, and resolving disputes related to discipline, discharge, and human rights issues, among others. Laurie also shared her knowledge with future legal professionals as an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she taught Collective Bargaining Law from 2015 to 2018.
