Martin Ejidra

Martin Ejidra, serving as an associate within the Employment Law Group at Koskie Minsky LLP, provides comprehensive legal guidance spanning the entirety of the employment relationship. His advisory role encompasses a broad spectrum of employment matters, from the initial job offer and hiring process to terminations and the intricacies of wrongful, constructive dismissal, and human rights issues. Martin's expertise extends to the creation of workplace policies and the drafting of employment contracts, ensuring both employers and employees navigate their relationships with clarity and legal precision.

Before his tenure at Koskie Minsky LLP, Martin honed his investigative skills at a premier investigation boutique, focusing on probing into harassment, human rights, and occupational health and safety complaints. Presently, he specializes in conducting thorough workplace investigations for a variety of entities, tackling sensitive issues such as anti-Black racism with diligence and expertise.

Martin's academic credentials include a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, earned in 2019, a B.Ed. from Lakehead University in 2012, and a B.A. Hons from the University of Toronto in 2010. His commitment to the legal profession is further underscored by his memberships in the Ontario Bar Association, the Association of Black Lawyers (CABL), and his active involvement in The Advocates’ Society’s Labour & Employment Practice Group as a Member at Large.

In addition to his legal practice, Martin is set to share his insights at the 2023 Certificate in Canadian Benefits Plans Program in Boston, MA, from October 16-18. This event offers a comprehensive overview of Canadian employee benefits, pensions, and HR practices, catering to professionals engaged with Canadian plans or those employed by U.S. companies with operations in Canada, highlighting Martin's dedication to enhancing understanding and expertise in Canadian employment law.
