Max Gennis

In 2015, after completing his J.D. at Osgoode Hall Law School and earning a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, Max Gennis was called to the Ontario Bar, marking the beginning of a distinguished legal career. Now serving as a Partner at WeirFoulds LLP within the Construction Law Practice Group, Max's legal acumen spans across a broad spectrum of construction-related disputes, including lien, contract, trust, and delay claims. His proficiency not only lies in litigation but also in the preventive aspects of law, guiding clients through the intricacies of construction contracts for projects nationwide.

Before his tenure at WeirFoulds, Max enhanced his legal prowess as Senior Legal Counsel at a prominent national infrastructure firm. This role saw him at the helm of legal operations, from managing competitive procurement bids to overseeing the legal frameworks that guide projects from their inception through to their completion. His responsibilities included the crafting and negotiation of contracts and spearheading dispute resolution efforts, ensuring projects stayed on course legally and financially.
