Ethan Campbell

Ethan Campbell has distinguished himself as a pivotal Partner within the Financial Services Specialty Group at his firm, offering seasoned guidance in banking and finance matters. His practice is dynamic, encompassing a wide range of services for a diverse clientele that includes Canadian and international banks, financial institutions, non-bank lenders, and private equity firms, as well as corporate borrowers. Ethan is proficient in various facets of corporate lending such as syndicated loans, acquisition financing, asset-based lending, and more, with a particular knack for navigating both domestic and cross-border deals.

Ethan embarked on his legal journey with Miller Thomson as a summer student in 2015, transitioning to an articling student the following year, and officially joining the legal profession upon his admission to the Ontario Bar in 2017.

His academic and extracurricular achievements are noteworthy. As an undergraduate at Algoma University, Ethan not only excelled academically but also made his mark as an athlete, playing for the Men’s Varsity Basketball team. His commitment and prowess on the court earned him several accolades, including Rookie of the Year and multiple academic awards. Notably, Ethan also participated as a Torch Bearer for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, a testament to his leadership and dedication.

Before venturing into law, Ethan gained practical experience as a heavy equipment operator in the construction sector, focusing on rock crushing and aggregates. His law school years were equally industrious, involving work on solar farm projects across Southwestern Ontario, reflecting his interest in sustainable development.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Ethan is actively involved in the community, having served as Co-President of the CASS Student Athletic Association and as a counsellor at All Tribes Camp. A member of the Law Society of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association, and Canadian Bar Association, Ethan's educational background includes a JD from Western University, where he also achieved a Global Sustainability Certification, and a cum laude BA in Law and Justice from Algoma University.
