Before embarking on her legal journey, Jennie dedicated over five years to the pharmaceutical industry as a medical writer, a role that honed her analytical and communication skills. This diverse background, combining science with law, allows Jennie to approach intellectual property challenges with a nuanced perspective.

Her academic credentials are impressive, with both a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from the University of Ottawa.
