Michele Szynkaruk

Michele, now an integral part of the Health Industry group at our firm, is carving out a dynamic practice in health law. She specializes in corporate and commercial aspects, alongside offering governance advice to healthcare entities, spanning both private and public sectors.

Her legal journey commenced at Miller Thomson, where Michele contributed her talents as a summer student and later as an articling student, before her call to the bar in 2021. Her academic path at Western Law included a leadership role on the Executive Committee of the Health Care Law Association, showcasing her commitment to health law early on.

Before embracing her legal career, Michele's compassion and expertise were evident in her role as a Registered Nurse, where she gained invaluable experience across diverse healthcare environments.

With her admission to the Ontario bar in 2021, Michele's educational background is notable, holding a Juris Doctor from Western University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution. Michele's unique blend of healthcare and legal expertise makes her an invaluable asset to any healthcare organization seeking comprehensive legal guidance.
