Noel Courage

Noel Courage, a pivotal figure at Bereskin & Parr LLP, significantly contributes to the Life Sciences practice group as a partner. His co-chairing of the Intellectual Property Courses Committee showcases his commitment to education, overseeing intensive IP summer courses in collaboration with McGill University School of Continuing Studies and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC). Noel’s dedication to sharing knowledge extends to his role as a speaker at various law association meetings across the US and Canada, alongside authoring numerous insightful articles on IP law and technological advancements.

While pursuing his law degree at Dalhousie University, Noel was recognized for his scholarly achievements, receiving accolades in patent and trademark law as well as contract law, underscoring his early promise in the field.

Noel’s educational background is robust, with an LL.B. from Dalhousie University and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Memorial University of Newfoundland, laying a solid foundation for his legal career. His professional credentials are extensive, including registrations as a Canadian and United States Patent Agent and admission to the Ontario Bar, marking him as a highly qualified expert in his field.

His membership in prestigious organizations such as the American Intellectual Property Law Association, Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, and the International Trademark Association, among others, reflects his active engagement and esteemed standing within the intellectual property community.
