Paige Newman

Paige Newman, serving as an associate at Bereskin & Parr LLP, specializes in steering clients through the intricacies of patent prosecution alongside handling a variety of intellectual property concerns. Paige's academic journey culminated in a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering. Before her tenure at Bereskin & Parr, Paige enhanced her legal acumen as a Legal Summer Student at an international meat exporting firm, focusing on refining their construction contract request system and crafting contracts and service agreements.

Her journey to becoming a legal professional included significant roles as a summer and articling student at the firm, laying a solid foundation for her career. Beyond the confines of her professional life, Paige has a passion for reading, baking, exploring new places, and enjoying the outdoors with her dog.

Completing her education with a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Western Ontario in 2020, Paige quickly progressed to being admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2021. She is on track to become a Registered Canadian Patent Agent by 2024.

Paige is an active member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and the Law Society of Ontario (LSO), reflecting her commitment to the legal profession and continuous professional development.
