His journey from a software developer and devops engineer to a legal expert in Intellectual Property (IP) allows him to offer a nuanced understanding of the technological aspects of IP law. Paul's work encompasses developing IP strategies, crafting and prosecuting patent applications, negotiating licensing agreements, conducting IP due diligence, and drafting privacy agreements along with website terms and conditions. His technical acumen spans a diverse range of areas from computer hardware and software to data center technologies, medical devices, and digital biomarker research, extending to electrical technologies across both commercial and consumer domains.

Paul's engineering prowess was showcased during his time at Queen’s University, where he was instrumental in designing, building, and racing solar-powered electric vehicles in prestigious competitions such as the American Solar Challenge and the World Solar Challenge.
